Homebrew Wii Channels

I'm having problems with my Wii homebrew channel, just bubbles?

I have a Wii 4.2, managed to get the homebrew channel on there. There's only bubbles on it tough. How do I put anything useful on, and how do I start playing my backups? Thanks.
