How to Re-enable "Wii-fi" on your console if you get banned

In the course of engaging in legal (or illegal - although you would never do that right?) hacks to your Wii console, issues can arise. There are a variety of reasons for hacking (or let's use a nicer word, and say modding) your Wii. These include using the Homebrew channel, to playing backed up games to playing a Wii iso download that you've somehow obtained. If Nintendo gets wise to whatever you are doing, they can do anything from "Bricking" your Wii to banning you from Wii Wi-Fi.

This is a tutorial for how to get un-banned if the latter scenario happens with "Wii-Fi".

1.) Download the tool called "fs tool box 0.3". Just Google it. You can find it anywhere on the web. Copy it over to the folder called "apps" on the sd card.

2.) On the Homebrew Channel, load "fs tool box 0.3"

Make sure that you follow these instructions exactly. Otherwise you could make things worse and brick your Wii.

3.)Press the "A" button
4.) Press the "A" button a second time.

5.) Scroll down. Find the "shared2" folder and press the "A" key
6.) Scroll down and find where it says "DWC_AUTHDATA" and select "-"
7.) Now press home and power off your wii
8.) Load the sd card into your PC and install/run your Hex EDITOR
9.) Load "DWC_AUTHDATA" which can is now located in the "fs tool box 0.3" location that will be something like X:appafs tool box 0.3SHARED2
10.) +1 or -1 to the 8th byte. Save that bad boy and load the sd card back into your Wii

11.) Now, on the Homebrew Channel again, run "fs tool box 0.3" another time

12.) Select and press "A"
13.) Then press "A" again
14.) Once again scroll down to the "shared2" folder and press "A"
15.) Now scroll down to "DWC_AUTHDATA" and press "+"
16.) Finally you need to delete all of the saves that where you were banned from. All of the others can stay.

You are now un-banned!!!!!! You can thank me later.

Now be good next time. If you're going to hack your Wii, just use it to play backed up games. If you download full version games and try to play them, you risk benig banned again.
