xbox 360 slim wireless microphone wont connect?

i have hte new xbox 360 console the slim one today i got the micheal jackson game with the microsoft wireless microphone but i cant connect it there is no sync button on the new xboxs and i dont want to use the built in mic on the xbox kinect the game requires kinect so surely u must be able to use a wireless microphone plz plz help there is no info anywere
sorry i mean i have the new .........
there is no sync button on the new 360slim only 2 usb ports it is diffrent to the other xboxed like the elite

the sync button is next to the usb port... if it aint there then it may be on the kinect sensor.
