Wii Internet Cable

Any way to connect Wii to cable internet?
I heard about only being able to use wireless internet, and maybe a router. where can i get a router and what does the router basically do? Also, i do only have Cable internet (Comcast)...is there any way @ all to connect with cable internet??
I'd recommend anyone get a router between their cable modem and their computer, even if they only have one device.
The router not only shares the internet connection with many devices, it also acts as a firewall to block much of the random content floating around, much of which is due to internet worms trying to propagate itself.
If you got a wireless router maybe $50 minimum, you'll be able to connect your Wii to it without anything additional.
If you get a wired router, which you may be able to find for as little as $20, you'll also need to get a USB-ethernet connector in order to connect the Ethernet out from the router into the USB in the back of the Wii. Nintendo has it in stock for $25. You may be able to find it around for less elsewhere, but I'm not sure what's available in all areas. So this may be your best bet.
