Wii Internet Channel Update
Wii Internet Channel Not Working?
I have updated my Wii Firmware and Internet Channel to the latest versions. I also have Netflix on my Wii. When viewing Netflix, the wifi connection works fine.I can browse and watch movies. When I connect to the Wii shop channel or Nintendo channel things again work fine. Connection tests show that I am connected to my wifi network, the only problem is when I try to view any pages in the internet channel, I get an error message that says "You trie to access (URL) which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the web address is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page. Make sure your internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working." Like I said, all the other ones are working just fine, its just the internet channel. Any solutions?
Is your wii hacked at all? Cuz they'll find you if it is!!!!
Anyways, I assume you've typed in very obvious URLs such as Google.com just to make sure you are typing a valid URL.
Another thing to take into account is that the internet channel is working on Opera, so it's bound to have problems.
Have you updated your wii in the last few days? They just released a new OS (is that what you call it for the wii?) and some people have been having problems with it.
Aside from doing any of that or moving your wii or maybe trying a direct USB internet connection (which is stupid, so don't do that), there's a good chance that if you call nintendo support, they'll be like "Oh yes, that's supposed to happen, just do this and blah blah blah" and then it'll start working again.
