Wii Ios249 Stub
Wii stub ios249, can you help me, please? I'm trying to uninstall the the ios249 stub on my wii.?
I downloaded a pack to uninstall the ios249 stub, so I can play my backup games. However, when I select the bootmii application all i get is a blank screen. The instructions online said to wait but, how long? Can anyone help please?
To burn a Wii game, use the program ImgBurn and burn the Wii ISO at 4x speed for maximum quality onto a non-cheap DVD-R.

You MUST mod your Wii in order to play backup games.
-USB Loader GX is my preferred USB loader.
-ULoader is what I use to play disc games.
-Some Wiis can't read DVD-R.

If your Wii's serial number is LU7306 or higher, then you will NOT be able to play DVD-R's on your Wii.
You will only be able to play from USB if your Wii Serial Number is the same or higher than LU7306.

In order to mod your Wii, you will need a good hacking guide and need to know your System Menu number.
Checking your Wii System Menu number.
-Turn on your Wii.
-Go to the Wii icon in the lower-left-hand corner of your screen.
-Go to System Settings.
-Your Wii System Menu Number is on the upper-right-hand corner of your screen.
--For example, my Wii System Menu number is 4.2U.
