Wii Ios58 Installer

how to get usb loader to work wii?

so ive never modded or soft modded anything before and have been working for like 4 hours trying to get this to work, ive finally gotten the HBC running and now im working on the usb loader, but i cant figure that out and the guides dont seem as helpful to me. so on my sd card it looks like this

apps
-dvdinstl34
-homebrew_browser
-ios58_gx
-usbloader-gx
-usbloadergx_1.0_installer.exe
boot.dol (this came from usb loader)
boot.elf
bootmii
codes
config
images
installer.log
private
txtcodes

i only put like 3 files on there and dont know if the rest should be there, i also dont know what a "wad" is and what should go in that folder so i havnt added one. any help would be greatly appreciated, and i am trying to use a mac but switching over to a pc when ive needed one.
oh and im a version 4.2 if theres a way to downgrade i would do it if thats the only way to make it work.

The first thing you need to do is backup your NAND in case you brick your wii. Sounds like your just guessing at how to do this and do not understand how it really works.

All the files you have on your SD card are obsolete, I dont even see CIOS REV 19 or 38 37 merge wad. Got to wiihacks.com for the proper tutorials. Or pay someone to do it for you instead of spending countless hours. Most people just dont understand how this works or what the files do. You will find alot of bad tutorials or bad advice on the internet. You can get your wii properly modded with all the correct wads so everything works and a backup of your nand.

A IOS is a driver the wii needs to use the hardware correctly. A CIOS is a CUSTOM IOS. So custom driver (allows you wii to read copys). A wad is the file format the wii uses to read drivers and programs to install them and run them.
