Can someone please help me with a wired internet connection on the wii?

here's the scoop, i have a wii console, LAN adapter, ethernet cables, and a cable modem hooked up to my computer. What else do i need?Do i need a router if so can it be wireless? or does it have to be wired?i appreciate your answers, thank you

You are pretty much good to go. You got everything you need to connect to the internet on your Wii. Just plug in the LAN adapter at the back of Your Wii counsel, plug in the ethernet cable into the LAN adapter to your modem.

Once done, you can go to the Wii settings from the Wii menu and test the connection. It will tell you if the connection was successful.
