Wii Media Center Divx
wii who else is disappointed?
games are ok but no decent mp3 or media center unless u use photo channel and do it as slide show
cant watch any other format apart from huge files that 10x bigger than divx or standard mpeg, opera webbrowser have to pay for on the wii(after beta ver) when opera is free company how much of a rip of is that (every other format win mobile, palm , windows , linux)webbrowser is free
if it was not for thefact homebrew is still fighting for our consumer rites (making it so we can cheat and download what we want for free and play what we want) i would be most upset and it still under warrenty so i cant open it and chip the thing to do every think i want it to
it cant even play dvd's, consoles for the last 5 years could do that
I have no problem with that. I bought a Wii because I wanted to play games. If I wanted a media center, I would've gotten a 360 (probably would've been easier to get).
There have been a couple of great games that have come out on the Wii (No More Heroes is probably the best game I've played since God of War or Bully), and it's fun to bust out Wii Sports or Super Smash Bros Brawl at a party.
I really don't need the Wii to play DVDs or CDs (I got a PS2 and X-Box that'll do both). I just want a system that's fun, and the Wii is just that. Fun.
