Wii Memory Card 16gb
SD Cards, Adapters and Micro/Mini SD Cards Help!!?
I am looking at buying a SDHC, SD card or maybe a Mini SD Adpapter for my Nintendo Wii so I can have extra storage. In my phone I have a Mini SD card that is 256mb in size. I'm pretty sure I want more mb than that so I was wondering if the adapters have there own memory as well. So what I am saying is that just say you buy an Mini SD card adapter and it has 2gb of memory ( thats if they do have there own memory) and I put in the Mini SD card, would it then have 16gb and 256mb of memory. Or is the adapter just something the Mini SD cards go in so they can fit in the normal SD card slots. Also with SDHC cards, do they have their own 'mini' form or are they just normal size. If they do have their own memory, is it cheaper to buy the adapter or normal card?
Thanks
No Adapters do not have any memory of their own, they are purely to make the smaller cards fit into the larger sized sockets.
Generally the price of a full sized versus a mini or micro is almost the same, you may pay a small amount extra for micro over mini or full sized but its not usually much, In fact in some cases its actually cheaper to buy the micro's but its very much down to individual suppliers.
