Wii Memory Card Size Limit
Is there any size limit for an SD card on Wii?
I have heard a rumor that wii will only recognize SD cards of 2 GB or less. Is this true or can I use a 4 GB memory card. Does it make a difference?
Sorry but no, you cant use a 4GB sd card on your wii( unless your using it for homebrew ), because the wii system software doesn't support SDHC (SD High Capacity) Cards. SDHC is anything above the size of 4GB. As for using it in homebrew, certain apps will recognize SDHC cards and can use them, but not authorized wii software. But, as is shown possible by wii homebrew, Nintendo may eventually release a new Menu Version allowing it but there hasnt been anything mentioned yet. Hope I helped!
