i have to buy a wii for my son.is there a better version or model available in uae or us as compared to india?
the model thats available in india has only one wiimote.they are not even selling an extra wiimote so how do two kids play boxing or tennis? is there only one model of wii or more? what is ntsc?what all i shud check before buying the game & what is the diff btwn the models & prices if i buy from delhi or dubai?
The Wii is the same around the world. The only difference is that some countries aren't getting Wii Sports bundled with their Wii - Japanese consumers, for example, have to buy it separate.
You can usually buy extra Wii remotes wherever you can buy a Wii. For the boxing game, the second player will also require a nunchuk attachment, also bought from places that sell Wiis and Wii accessories. The Wii supports up to 4 Wii remotes at once, although not every game supports that many players.
NTSC is a video broadcast format, used by the US, Canada, and a lot of other countries. Not every country in the world uses it - Australia, parts of Europe, and South East Asia use a different format called PAL. An NTSC TV cannot normally display a PAL signal, and vice versa. Usually, you won't normally be able to find PAL-based hardware in a country that uses NTSC, and vice versa.
