Wii Netflix Setup Wireless
Why can't I connect my Wii?
I want to setup the Wii in the sisters room so she can watch netflix in her room but the Wii doesnt want to connect to my Router for some reason I am using a Linkyss Wireless B router and im in a apartment so its small and the router is literally between 15 or 16 feet from the Wii and everytime i try to connect wirelessly it doesnt want to connect and gives me a error code? Anyone got anything?
The wii can't locate or connect to routers that use encryption other than WEP keys. If yours is set up to use WPA whatever it's called, change the encryption type to WEP instead (or just disable the encryption altogether, which I DON'T recommend).
This should do the trick. If not, it may be that your router just isn't supported by the wii (unlikely), or it could be a hardware problem with the wii.
